Recipe Share Wednesday: Sopapilla Cheesecake, Oh My!

These are sooooo yummy! It’s hard to eat just one square!


Sopapilla Cheesecake (shared by Lynn Pridgen)

Yield: 24 bars


2 packages crescent rolls
2 packages cream cheese, 8 ounces
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 stick butter
1/2 cup sugar


In a 9X13 pan, unroll 1 package of crescent rolls and line the bottom of the pan. Mix the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugarand vanilla together, and spread over the crescent rolls. Place the second can of crescent rolls onto the cream cheesemixture. Pour the melted butter over the entire dish. Sprinkle the 1/2 cup of sugar over the butter and top with      cinnamon.* Bake for approximately 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

* I mix the cinnamon and sugar before sprinkling over the top. ~ Lynne
